Queensland Police Identity Crime Symposium
RACV Royal Pines Resort – Gold Coast The Fraud and Corporate Crime Group, State Crime Operations Command, Queensland Police Service are proudly hosting the 2009 National Identity Crime Symposium at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast from 12-14 October, 2009. Identity crime has been extensively reported as the fastest growing crime type globally, costing the Australian economy somewhere between $1.6B and $3B per annum. Identities are now a criminal commodity and there is not a business, organisation or individual that is not potentially vulnerable to some form of exploitation.
