Intelligence-led Policing Defined

The International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) worked with the US Bureau of Justice Assistance, local and state police officials and noted academics in the field to develop this definition of ILP:

"Executive implementation of the INTELLIGENCE CYCLE to support proactive decision making for resource allocation and crime prevention"
