Update: South Carolina Serial Killer Slain
Authorities are reporting that a burglary suspect slain in North Carolina was the man wanted as the serial killer in South Carolina.
Ballistics of the gun and bullets found on the still-unidentified man match those used to kill residents in and around Gaffney, S.C., about 30 miles away, said State Law Enforcement Deputy Director Neil Dolan.
